But she won’t let Frank or her flaky employees see her sweat. To counter her repressive coping methods, isn’t ignoring your issues idiotic? Vee thinks so, and as Fiona breaks down her bedroom door to kick Frank out, Vee tells her to get a restraining order. Remember, she inked warrior on her forearm to evade idiotic behavior. Doing so would imply that he holds any power over her or her emotions. Speaking of Fiona, she’s not in the mood to deal with Frank. It’s all so he can barricade the second floor of the Gallagher home to piss off his children, instilling Liam with values his actual guardian would never cosign. In the grime of the Alibi Room, he makes Liam pick out his latest conquest. Just as he did with Debbie and Carl when they were too young to know psychotic from batsh-t crazy, Frank teaches Liam his wayward ways. In the alley of a home improvement store, he makes Liam choose workers. With one Gallagher left to brainwash and manipulate, Frank steals Liam to gather equipment for his latest project. And it’s the loving father who casts the first stone. However, Season 7’s mission statement, more so than seasons past, seems to indicate that a real divide will be driven between Frank and his offspring. We could sit around the campfire for weeks telling tales of Frank’s wrongdoings, but that would hardly be ample time to even scratch the surface. Since the humble beginnings of Shameless, the Gallagher children have tried time and time again to rid their lives of their parasitic father.
